Another of the recordings i did on my phone at work of a steel cable at tension between phone poles. Hitting it with a wrench and making laser sounds. Cleaned up in audacity as the other one was. One is better than the other but can't remember which one i liked the best. Use as you please. If you use it for something and have the time to tell me where it ended up, that's cool. Either way, enjoy.

File i recorded while at work on a telephone pole. I found a span of the steel cable they string between the poles that hold phone lines or cable lines. But this was just the bare span and nothing touching it. If you hit them with a wrench they make weird laser gun sounds. Recorded with my phone and cleaned up a bit in audacity. Use as you please. I decided to record myself making a couple of sounds with my mouth, used alot of vocoder and paulstretch and various other audio effects and the result was this. Tbh, sounds a bit like a broken sodastream imo.

A power up sound for any sort of mechanical, high tech, or sci-fi charging up sound. Can also work for turning on jets and turbofans. This was recorded by a tascam dr-05 and is a printer cooling down reversed.

Edited my space laser and an alien string instrument came out of it.

I was putting together a new under-bed storage crate and noticed the wheels made this awesome sound, almost like a laser gun or something. Granted, you'll likely want to do some manipulation to get to sound how you like, but i liked the sound so much i figured you might, too. Recorded on a tascam dr-40 and edited in audacity. Used audacity to make a chirp sound, i think it's sine-sawtooth. Pretty easy thing. Nothing to lose from it being mp3. It's a pretty dirtily made sound.

A broken cd drive trying to read a cd. It sounded weird so i decided to upload it :). This recording is unprocessed (no denoising, no dynamic range compression, etc. ).

This was made as more of a sifi air rifle rather than a "laser" pistol. However it can still work both ways. The track has three sound effects. They all have a "similar" sound but some very in pitch or tempo.

A laser gun sound i made for a game project file using synthesis and a lot of post processing.

This is a replication of the legendary tie fighter shot made in vps avenger!.

I took a gunshot, put a little bit of flanger on it and then rolled off the highs of an explosion and layered that underneath. I also added a few other effects to give it that fluttery sound in the end.

A laser noise created for my science fiction sitcom. The base was just a note from a vst synth (i can't remember which) and then a variety of pitch shifts, time stretches and layers of reverb until it sounded right.

Another random experimental sound effect i made. All i did was really random noises like popping and kissing sounds, and blowing the mic. Then i edited it in adobe audition cs6 and tweaked it on audacity.

For fast firing lasers, honestly it's better to use nonquick versions of my laser beam sounds as the sound when quick is too abrupt.

Synthesized sci-fi shooting. This is a one of the results of my attempt to complete a school assignment. We were supposed to create a gun or canon fire sound with audiogen synthesizer. Let say that this is my best result that could be "loosely" called a gun firealthough it has a sci-fi spin on it :-).
